Pomacanthus semicirculatus, also known as the Half-circle angelfish or semicircle angelfish, is a species of marine fish that is found in the Indo-Pacific region. It is a member of the Pomacanthidae family, which includes all angelfish. The Half-circle angelfish is a medium-sized species, typically growing to around 18 inches (45 cm) in length. It has a striking color pattern, with a yellow body and a blue semicircle on the dorsal fin. Juveniles have a different coloration, typically with a blue body and a yellow dorsal fin. They are known to be reef dwellers and they feed on various small invertebrates, algae, and sponges.
