The Powder Brown Tang (Acanthurus japonicus), also called the Japan/white-faced surgeonfish, is a constant grazer that helps manage film algae while adding soft brown tones, a bold white cheek mask, and crisp blue edging along the fins. Look for the orange accent on the dorsal fin and the yellow marking at the base of the tail that stands out under reef lighting.
