The Melanesian Blue Devil Damsel (Chrysiptera cymatilis) is a compact Chrysiptera damselfish with an intense blue body that stands out strongly under reef lighting. It stays small, making it a good fit for reef aquariums where you want color concentrated around the rockwork. This species is reported from Papua New Guinea.

Provide stable rockwork with several tight crevices so it can choose a home base and still have open lanes to swim.
