The Harlequin Bass (Serranus tigrinus) is a Western Atlantic/Caribbean sea bass with a high-contrast pattern in black, tan, white, and yellow. It tends to hold close to rock ledges and rubble zones, and it can reach a notably larger adult size than many “basslet” types.
What You’ll Observe:

For best results, provide multiple caves/crevices and clear sight-breaks so it can claim a home base without needing to control the whole tank. Offer meaty frozen foods (like mysis and chopped seafood) and keep feeding times consistent so it settles in and shows itself regularly.
