The Sailfin Tang (Zebrasoma velifer) is an active algae grazer that spends the day cruising rockwork and open water, picking at film algae and other growth. Adults develop tall dorsal and anal fins that “sail” outward, giving the fish a larger, disc-like profile typical of a Pacific Sailfin Tang.

Many start by grazing rock and glass first; try folding nori into smaller pieces, placing it near its usual swim path, and offering it at the same times each day.
